This is an early photograph of the anonymous majority circa 1956 in my Granny’s garden where everything was black and white ( and varying shades of grey). I was attempting, quite successfully I think you’ll agree, to blend into the background.
I see trees of grey … grey roses too
I see em bloom … for me and for you
And I think to myself … what a wonderful world.
My dad took the picture with a Brownie 127 camera set to Gas Mark 6.
