The 1951 Rolling Review Show … # 36
Welcome to the 1951 Rolling Review Show which twice weekly features pieces of music I have enjoyed at some time in my life. I hope you enjoy them as well. Let me know and please feel free to Reblog.
After yesterday’s post I think you will agree that there can really only be one candidate …
THE WALTONS Opening Theme
So come on folks … why not REBLOG this post and make it a World-Wide-Web-Waltons Celebration Day!!
Oh! grew up with the Waltons ……!!!!
It always makes me feel good. They were nice people with solid values. I could identify with them. Did you ever see a TV series/book called The Darling Buds of May ? It was about an English family in the 1950’s. They made me feel I could go back in time and live with them. 😀 Some episodes are on YouTube.
Yes, me too. I especially identified with John Boy, because of his writing … :o) I was a romantic girl then … No, I don’t know the Darling Buds of May, but I will look for them, I love to get inspiration:o) … thank you for your hint!
My pleasure.
Great show. My daughter’s favorite, along with Little House on the Prairie! 🙂
I wasn’t so keen on Little House on the Prairie. But it was still quite nice though. Here’s one for you – a minister talking with God on the roof … Little Prayer on the Housey. 😀😀🙌🙌
Didn’t ever see that one. Sounds rather like “People in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones” vs “People in grass houses shouldn’t stow thrones.” 🙂
😀😀👏👏🍸🍸
