  1. I have a question; I’m trying to learn how to create a trailer for my books, and have been told I cannot use any music without permission. Yet you can use it on blogs? Any help here?

    • I don’t know. It is a bit of a minefield as regards music and images. When it comes to a book trailer I would advice that you seek permission from the copyright holder. They may well say yes without any strings. They may also want … money for permissions and will insist on the appropriate credits. Sorry I can’t be more helpful. Thanks for dropping by. Kris.

      • but they don’t mind you using their YouTube posts?

      • That I can’t answer. I know that artists and record companies sometimes request their material be withdrawn from YouTube. Personally … All I am doing is indicating music I have enjoyed often from many years ago. Who knows … people may download it from i.tunes.

      • Hi Chris. I believe that technically it is very illegal to use another’s creation without their written approval. In the music business (and possibly other areas) there are conflicting feelings about it. On the one side… it is free advertising for their work. Opposing is it is the free entertainment which gathers the creator no royalties. The general trend appears to be to do just what you are doing (you are at least recognizing the creators) but, if challenged, co-operate 100%!!!!

      • Thanks very much Colin.

  2. So extremly beautiful, I could cry.

  3. A wonderful “first generation Fleetwood Mac”! I have to admit that I also loved the transformation resulting from Lindsay Buckingham and Stevie Nicks!
