Still on the road again …

“On the Road Again” is a song recorded by the American blues-rock group Canned Heat in 1967. It first appeared on their album, Boogie with Canned Heat, in January 1968. An edited version was released as a single in April 1968, “On the Road Again” became Canned Heat’s first record chart hit and one of their best-known songs.

  1. A real classic and I defy anyone to keep their toes from tapping while it’s on. The era of the best music, Baez, Dylan, Mamas and Papas, Melanie, Judy Collins, Joni Mitchell, America, just so many and that’s without adding all the Brit groups like The Hollies, The Beatles etc. The music just lives on

  2. Always loved that song. “On The Road Again”, “American Pie”, the protest songs and general hippy era ………… so glad that I experienced it all.

  3. Oh I remember this! Thanks. 🙂
