The 1951 Rolling Review Show … # 126

Welcome to the 1951 Rolling Review Show which twice weekly features pieces of music I have enjoyed at some time in my life. I hope you enjoy them as well. Let me know if you do.

“Bright Eyes” – Art Garfunkel

Bright Eyes” is a song written by Mike Batt and performed by Art Garfunkel. It was used in the soundtrack of the 1978 British animated adventure drama film Watership Down. It was the biggest selling single of 1979 in the UK.

  1. Beautiful song…….. absolutely absorbing book ….. terrible movie! Oh well, 2 out of 3 is good!

    • I quite liked the movie as well so I get 3 on 3. 😉🍻🐕🐇🐇🐇🐇🐰🐰🐰

      • I found the book extremely emotional, especially towards the end (Kleenex time), but the movie didn’t do too much for me. Perhaps the characters in the movie were nothing like the ones that I had conjured up in my mind from reading the book. 🙂

  2. I love the song but have never been able to bring myself to watch the animation as I read the book and… well, you know…
