The 1951 Rolling Review Show … # 139

Welcome to the 1951 Rolling Review Show which features pieces of music I have enjoyed at some time in my life. I hope you enjoy them as well. Let me know if you do.

“Hello, Goodbye” – The Beatles

“Hello, Goodbye” is a song by the Beatles, written by Paul McCartney and credited to Lennon–McCartney. Backed by “I Am the Walrus”, it was released as a single in November 1967, the group’s first release since the death of their manager, Brian Epstein.

  1. Still in love. ❤️

  2. Not seen this before I don’t think, Paul at his most gay; John excellent in profile conveying a very professional ‘must we?’ with every wink and nod to camera.

    • I’m guessing that they just couldn’t do anything wrong at this stage. 1967 was their year of sheer genius. But you are right about John and Paul. George looks elsewhere and Ringo is thinking about lunch. Loved them dearly though. 🎸🎹🎺🎻🎶🎵🎷🎿

  3. enjoyed this song, and the video. 🙂 .

  4. Love it. I’d never seen this video before. Thanks!

    • Hi Mitch. Neither had I. Beatles songs and footage tend to appear on YouTube and then get removed by various companies. Hopefully this will stay up awhile. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for dropping by. Chris.
