Sir Alex Allan
Alex Allan became a member of the 1951 Club back in May 2011. Born 9 February 1951, he is a senior British civil servant who was, until 2011, the chairman of the Joint Intelligence Committee and Head of Intelligence Assessment for Her Majesty’s Government. He is currently the Prime Minister’s Independent advisor on ministerial standards. He was appointed Knight Commander of the Order of the Bath (KCB) in the 2012 New Year Honours.
