American musician Lucky Oceans was born on 21 April 1951. He is a pedal steel guitarist and a former member of Country/Western swing band Asleep at the Wheel. He is now a broadcaster in Perth, Western Australia with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

Lists …

I will never ever get to the stage of having completed every 1951 Club post possible. Not even close. It will always be a work in progress. There will always be one more to write.

This is why I like lists. They come in very handy. The nice thing about lists is that it’s possible to be concise and far-reaching without actually having to say too much. They can be considered as worm-holes of information that can both bend and condense the data contained in the observable universe. They are also a good stop-gap just in case I don’t have time to go into detail until much later. I may end up having to write them from another dimension altogether. What a strange thought to have. 😯

Then I stumbled across a Wikipedia entry – The list of lists of lists. I wish I hadn’t. It wasn’t pretty. I needed a stiff drink which rapidly turned into several. 🍺🍺🍺 🍸🍸

Anyway. Whenever I start to experience information overload or feel a little overwhelmed by the task in hand, I may well now resort to whistling a happy tune and posting a list.
